eh? :?

Two different holes - the small round one for passing beer cans through - and the big square one for passing beer crates through.

Oh - just re-read it and see what you mean  . I should have said bulge where the hatch lid is now, rather than the hatch. The hatch is now completely clear - I can see the sunroof.

Have I read that some peeps deal with this problem by leaving e.g. the ventilation slot at the front of the tenting unzipped?

Sorry to hear about the trouble Mr M, remember the incident, you would have expected what happened to be the last thing likely when you came to put the roof back up :(

Mike, though I have nothing thicker than a half inch mat up there and no holes obscured, I always find getting the roof up and down a lot easier with the vent zips open to take some tension, I was wondering if this was the done thing in general?

Didn't even cross my mind :) It made no sense wot I wrote before.

I got a bit bored with the other avatar, so switched to the "Cresta Bear" (my kids like the advert and we're getting a decal done too). Probably soon get bored of that too  .

Almost invisible repair to tent wall using good ol' gaffer tape covered with a couple of layers of clear All Weather Tape.

Was a bit of hassle getting the surface clean & dry enough for the tape to stick but got there in the end with help from a hairdryer.

Shall wait to see if it holds, next weekend will be a good test!
