Thanks Haydn, you raise an interesting point, it sounds like the installer of the alarm hadn't done it properly, i'll relay the information on to the owner of the bongo in question.haydn callow wrote:If the alarm was flapping about there must have been a loose connection to cause it to play up...the module it'self is pretty bombproof

The sender on the tank was slightly loose.
Not obvious but a small amount of movement when twisted. Tightening the attatchment screw up cured the problem.
The Bongo has been tested on Hampshire's best potholes, various bends and a rough track and not a beep except for starting up.![]()
The temperature readout really shows up how useless the guage is. The range that registers as 11 o'clock is very wide.
