URGENT HELP NEEDED IN ELLESMERE PORT ASAP

Hi guys travelling back from birkenhead my oil light came on pulled over on inspection found that my oil filler cap had blown off now have oil all over the engine and no filler cap. Need to get back to basingstoke asap as have work tonight. Anybody out there who has a spare filler cap I need your help.

Just put a strong poly bag over it and tie with string.
Why did it blow off ?? not on properly ??

Hi you could yo uone of those tempory petrol caps from a fuel station#

try halfords or similar for a close match

lastly try calling your breakdown assistance they can usually sort it...
I am the only bongo in the village.......(not anymore there's two of us now "Damn it)

went to halfords and got a temporary cap to get me home, will buy a proper replacement when i get home

Hope you filled up with oil to liggy or the cap was the least of your problems. Fingers crossed.

Yes I did fill up with oil as well lol. Speaking to Bell Hill garage today to try get a replacement cap. Thanks BDC was able 2 do a temp repair as needed 2 get home as had 2 work sun nite.

I lost the cap to my header tank some years back, bellhill posted a replacement the same day, which i received the following morning! Top place. :wink:

Same here BDC ordered one off of bongobits yesterday replacement arrived this morning
