LF-Q025A car alarm

I've just been given the dubious honour of fitting a LF-Q025A alarm to our Bongo.

I've fitted a few alarms in the past but this seems to have an excessive amount of wires but, allegedly, will do everything except make a brew!

Anyone fitted one of these beauties before? If so, is there anything I should be aware of/worried about?

Btw the instructions are really poor :|

Hi Bainy,
You may get some info if you look/ask on this forum. I have a Granvia which came with a CAT1 alarm already installed but with no instructions or PIN number, within a couple of hours of asking the question, I got everything I needed.....very helpful people......just like BF =D> =D> =D>

Thanks for the info, I'm certain that I'll have to use it.

I've already found out that I have to retrofit remote central locking :? but I'm sure I'll be ok with that.

Are all Bongos a pain? This one seems to be - even fitting the stereo took me ages, I felt so ashamed :roll:

Umm at the time I wasn't even aware there was a Bongo community

Bainy, if a stereo causes you problems I realy think a cat 1 alarm should be left to others, no offence intended .

I'll be ok, no offence taken :D

I've been on the motor industry a while now and the problem with the radio is that you get used to doing them a specific way. In this case it just threw me slightly and took me a while longer :lol:

The alarm should be within my abilities
