That's good news regarding the MOT.
I will have to add the fogs to my list now.. #-o :D

There's at least 3 of us that have passed mot with it now, Nevetts has been through 3 times.
I'm not saying an over enthusiastic plod or DOT inspector would be as happy, what passes MOT isn't necessarily road legal.

No -one would spot that surely? If it was foggy enough to have it switched on, then could they actually make out the detail?... In the real world kirsty, you'll be fine...If you do get tugged, just act daft (aren't they all like that? It was like that when i got it" etc, etc.

It's an innovative and problem solving mod at the end of the day, good on ya!

I replaced one of the Reverse light bulbs with a red led jobby, I have run this by my MOT man who has no probs with it.......what he also said is......How many people actually use rear fog lights?.........well apart from the ones who when they do forget to turn them off... [-X [-X [-X

Trying to get my head around this latest lot - one thread has folks with blacked out windows who want to have paint removing searchlights to see where they're reversing and on here folks are REMOVING the reversing light to adapt a for a foglight #-o

Your MOT mans bending it a bit Mike - the revesing lamp hasn't got a high intensity lens pattern that the foglamp should have........................ :?

I think those wide type led bulbs have an intensity of there own dandy, they don't need a mirrored reflector to intensify the light output, as they only shine forwards anyway.

For anybody using conventional filament bulbs... The lens shroud can be made more reflective by the addition of chrome tape on the inside.
