Hi all,
I have had a problem with my heater for a while but its is now needing fixing with the cold weather. The rear works fine but the front fan has stopped completely. Heat still blows through when driving at speed but when stationary nothing comes out.
I have not blown fuses and the local garage said the fan was ok at the front and suggested it was the control unit (digital)was at fault.
Ant suggestions will be very welcome!
heater not blowing in front only?

Check the heater fan resistor under the bonnet, there are fact sheets in the members area that show you how to get to it & fix it.
If it is that at fault, chances are the fan is getting wet & starting to have to work harder, be worth whipping it out & sorting it before it seizes, again there's a fact sheet that covers this.
There're loads of threads on similar problems in Techie, common problem on the bongo

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
