Hi folks,
I am looking at getting my V6 LPG converted. Do all types of conversion take up the area where a second battery would fit under the bonnet on the right hand side? If they do then this potentially rules out the option of fitting a leisure battery in the future.
Many thanks,
Rossw

Re: LPG conversion/Leisure battery
Hi,
I have a prins vsi system, the vaporiser is fitted under the drivers seat so I have no issues with a leisure battery.
I've learned alot (partly the hard way) about LPG so if you have any questions please feel free to PM me. Be sure to get someone who knows what they are doing (and can prove it) to fit it, that is as important as the type of system you install.
Hope this helps. Whereabouts are you located btw?

Re: LPG conversion/Leisure battery
I've got a BiGas. Same as apole, vaporiser and all the smarts are in the engine compartment - nothing at all in the bay forward of the front bulkhead, so have two batteries/no problem.
Good luck, and likewise PM if I might be able to help.
One area I think I've explored more than apole has is the (im)possibility of running the engine and a Propex or similar blown air heater from the same tank (different supply pressures, etc.), and Bongo issues preventing use of a separate LPG leisure tank to fuel a Propex.
