I think it would be OK for day visitors, but you would have to check with the site. Sounds great idea. Look forward to seeing you.

I'm not sure about day visitors :? The Haven site in Weymouth was like Fort Knox and you had to show your entertainment passes to get into the site. However, I don't remember them being so strict at Cleethorpes - perhaps Heather or Gary can remember.

not a problem the seal sanctuary is about opposite the haven site so can park up in the carpark there and walk in.

It wasn't last April, when a few stayed, a couple of us went in as day visitors, Tattoodaisy got an extra wristband when they went in, so I had one to get into the clubhouse bit (not that I remember being checked), might be worth bearing in mind  Just don't do it up too tight when you put it on, then you can take it off & reuse it for other visitors.

Must have changed cos' we didn't get any wristbands, just the Funworks passes :? There were men, in the kiosk at the entrance, who were checking anybody going in - they even wanted to see both passes when we were in the car. They didn't check anybody on the bus that went in the camp though

Update:- I have now confirmed that the group will be close together and have requested allocation close to facilities. Any booking number I do not have now can be added later, when I recieve them. Those who do not have an electric pitch will also be close to each other.
We will be doing our food thing on Saturday(give us more time to get sorted friday) Burgers, sausages, Rolls, crisps, salad etc. Heather will be doing some goodies also. May need your kindly offered BBQ Technophobe :)
All welcome

Happy Camping :D

Its a large electric Foreman Grill on a pole. Bought it because it does not use gas and is therefore cheaper to use. Also does Pizzas well :P :P

Thanks for your help That sounds really good! As long as it's easy for you to transport. I think it is what I was looking at on EBay . I would buy one, but I have so many unused gadgets , Jimmy would not be happy with another :( .
I hope the electric supply will cope with it all . I am bringing a Panina press , large multicooker and microwave. Oh yes #-o and a double electric hob. Might blow the campsite up with that lot
Don't worry if it is awkward to transport, we will make do.

Cheers Anna :D
