Yep but why bother?

If you know what the discrepancy is, why bother pfaffing about to correct it?

More importantly is the Odometer reading correctly, as you don't want to be clocking up more miles than you are actually doing.

On mine its 4mph I know that and allow for it and the miles are within a couple of % of actual measured by these new distance posts on the M/way

I agree with scanner here. If you do happen to fit 17" wheels, hey presto problem solved as a by product. But I wouldn't bother with it otherwise.
