Arnt Halfords glad they have helpful, knowledgable staff. They usually have a rack full of these - admitedly they are well expensive, but its probably badged as a PC10-4 and should say ' suits all mazda models except 121'.
If your stuck, I have few in stock, but ebay will be cheaper.

What a laugh, the guy tapped away on his keypad for 5 mins only to say " the computer says no" like the character off little britain, i only went there cos it was gone 5 30 and was the only place open.
Thanks for the replies

Re: car radio adapters
Does the arial lead fit into the new radio? If not, you might need an adaptor.
I got this one:

Re: car radio adapters
There's also http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitt ... /mazda.htm - scroll down to Bongo Aug 91 - Dec 01*, PC2-10-4, £9.78.
You may also need a new fascia adapter, and/or a CD cubby box, depending on the kit you're installing, relative to the fascia kit that's already there - there's a wide selection of both on the same website.
*(The Bongo manufacturing dates listed against the PC2-10-4 adapter above, are a bit suspect. Was the Bongo Friendee at least, made as early as '91, although that adapter may well also cover earlier Bongo vans and trucks? However, in our case (an early 2001 Bongo, as below), the PC2-10-4 adapter was incorrect, despite all previous info in the Fact Sheet "Audio" at that time. Ours turned out to need the PC2-78-4 dapter, listed on the same Nexxia page as the PC2-10-4, and as also specified for all other later Mazdas. For later Bongos, the message therefore is, remove old radio and check before buying your adapter.)
