Thanks for your message to all. Hadn't seen it before I already had PM offers from both Mike, as below, AND missfixit40 - to both of whom my public thanks now, as well as the PM replies already sent. Great people on a great forum! In fact, you're right, it didn't turn up today either and I had already decided to give it until tomorrow before taking up Mike's offer to collect his - he's fairly close by. Did you have proof of postage, BTW? If so, and if not eventually received (AND ONLY if the paperwork's not too onerous - if it is, don't worry!), you should be able to get my money back and perhaps use it for the second lot I ordered from your next batch. Meanwhile, grateful thanks again all =D>

Ron, no...as the value was so low I just posted them normal 1st class....No worries I don't think that loss will break the bank.....You never know it may turn up..
We will sort it when the next batch arrives..
Sods law that it would happen to you who started this whole affair and paid up front....or was it Murphy's law..

Sods law seems about right to me :)

BTW, ask for it and you can get proof of posting for ordinary 1st class, over the P.O. counter - am sure you knew that but not everybody might.

Mine still did not arrive in this morning's post but perhaps it still will do so sometime, if Les only got his yesterday.

Meanwhile, to be on the safe side, and to help get the old gal back on the road quickly now as per your earlier post, I'm collecting his from mikeon4bc tonight. As a precaution against mine not eventually turning up, can you reserve a second lot for me in your next batch, and that second one can then go straight to Mike in replacement, please.

If meanwhile it turns out to not be needed, I'll let you know of course - and, either way, once I'm sure of the number, I'll get the appropriate payment off to you. As far as the presently lost one is concerned, that's definitely my cost, especially as you did not do this commercially in the first place. Cheers, David aka Ron

IMPORTANT

Haydn - and all other users of 3940:

I finally got my hands on some 3940 this evening, courtesy of mikeonb4c, as per later posts. Don't know if it's already been picked up but the instructions actually with the 30ml bottles supplied, specify a higher optimum concentration (30ml in 15 litres, as opposed to 30ml in 22.5 litres) than specified on Tracerline's website - "marketing" again, or just error?

Anyway, if the supplied instructions are correct, there isn't enough after all to provide 2 reasonable concentration charges in a Bongo's 13 litres of coolant. 30ml is, instead, sufficient for only one highish concentration Bongo system charge.
