Hi
I've just purchased my Bongo and had it imported from Japan. I have decided to keep the audio system but cannot set the clock. I believe the system to be a standard one - it has a screen which tilts out and behind the screen is the cd and tape slot. The system also has a sat nav but I do not know how to set the clock as instructions are in japanese. I can provide more info on the system although cannot see a make or unit/serial number
Many thanks
Andy

Welcome to the madhouse
If you put your location in your profile, it helps us to help you.
Most people just scrap the Japanese job as the radio will only receive radio 2 and the MW bands.

Sounds like the same system I had in mine. You'll be able to play cd's & cassettes & listen to Radio 2.
I was told the satnav, tv & clock were all automated by a Japanese satellite not available in the UK. Which might be why it probably shows Tokyo time & nothing else.
If you want to replace it be careful where you take it. The retaining clips have a reputation for breaking far too easily & when they do they can be troublesome to remove. I couldn't find a Halfords who would touch it (I tried four) & it eventually took a specialist over 2 hours to remove. Even with his specialist tools the clips broke..... Fortunately we had agreed a price! He called me all sorts of bad names & still goes red & shakes his fist when I drive past.
