Which headlamp bulb do I get from Halfords please my learned friends? 1995 N plate

just off the top of my head i think its an H4.

But they're usually a quarter of the price at Lidl (when they sell them) or Ebay.
I bought a pair of H4s for the wifes Yaris for about £4 on ebay last month, I'm pretty sure I paid £20 a pair in Halfords about 3 years ago.

As Bongo headlights are proverbially weak don't buy standard ones, buy the "upgrade" Hi-Power ones.
Phillips and Osram (among others) make them and they are noticeably better.

I've just had some of the El Cheapo ones blow after less than a year.

I'll check and let you know - it may have been one of Dave Edwards's "What" shop ones.
It was certainly one of the Blue tinged ones.
