Addzest navigation and sound system

Post by B king » Sun Jan 25, 2009 8:04 pm

Hi, I now have a new bongo to replace the one which was stolen before christmas! my new bongo is fitted with a addzest navigation and sound system, all the manuals and instructions are written in Japanese! I can't read Japanese so am at a loss to know what does what! I can't even find out how to turn the tv screen off, and have had some fleeting glances of the world bowls come up from time to time!! Has any body had any experience of these systems ? Is there any point trying to get it to work properly or should I just disconect it all and start from scratch?

We've never yet seen one that will work in the UK and always remove them.

Probably because Japan uses the same TV standard as the USA - NTSC instead of the Pal system we use it's different number of screen lines - everything.
