glow plugs

Post by ndbongo » Wed Jan 14, 2009 8:13 pm

hya all
my mazda bongo n reg (1995) will not start apparently it is the glow plug fuse. All specification and information is given in Japanese. i need the layout of fuses, particularly the glow plug fuse
the mechanic has found the relay but need to know what number fuse is the one that controls the glow plugs and where the timer control is that energizes it.
also we need to know about the injector pump timing the actual numbers for the pump time for the dti. :)

Welcome to the madhouse :D Don't forget to put your location in your profile.
All the fuses are shown on a fact sheet in the member's area - follow the instructions in the latest "update" email from Ian. If you're not a member, now would be a good time to join 8)

There is a fusible link too for the glow plugs up near the battery I think. http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... k&start=15
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

There is a 10 amp fuse that controls the relay and a short fusable link attached to the battery.

I blew both and made afused link to replace the fusable link with the intention of getting the correct item but have not got round to it yet.

the fused link takes about a 25 to 30 amp fuse
