Double entendre, I love them

Bin Bongoed wrote:I've just today realized that when I lowered the roof after the Looe New Year bash I had not lowered the elevated floor first. The the edges of sides of the tent are folded inside the van, poking out through the edges of the floor, and when I press the release button to relevate the roof, it does not start peeping. I of course cannot therefore lift the floor to release the tent sides. I was proposing to gently ease up the floor to release the tent sides while it was elevating.

Any ideas how to proceed?
how did you get on with getting it up  all sorted i hope.

I won't embarrass Geoff by revealing the truth - but it took a second to sort

Easily done... I recall getting a phonecall from my brother in law when he used to own a freda, weird actually, he's a fireman and his membership number was 999 on bongo fury...Anyway, i digress... He had spent hours, and hours trying to fault find why his roof wouldn't raise... I asked him if the handbrake was on...The line went very quiet indeed!

Problem solved, that's the main thing... I think the initial panic over what the problem could be often makes us forget the obvious initial cause...
