My bongo is sounding rather loud at present and I'm busy collecting all the bits I need to replace the front section of my exhaust (with the cold start exhaust valve).
Does any one know the size of nuts and bolts needed, inparticular the four long bolts that sandwich the cold start valve between the two sections of exhaust?
Also, is a gasket required either side of the exhaust valve?
Any help would be appreciated
Ron.

Re: Exhaust bolts. What size?
When I replaced the exhaust I got rid of my front pipe with the valve on - it is not required in the UK and mine was leaking - the flanges are welded to the pipe and there is nothing servicible in the valve - if you replace the front pipe all you have to do is put a bolt with a bit of silicone up the end of the rubber vacuum pipe when you have shortened the pipe to about 3 inches. If you realy want a valve in the front pipe there is one for sale on ebay at the moment.
then again there is also a skinny spare wheel for sale as well,

If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

Great, I think that I will get that skinny spare and put it on my wheel barrow
