Heater blowing HOT then COLD - No Inbetween!

Post by paco » Wed Jan 07, 2009 11:37 am

Hi
Since last week my heater has started acting strange and just wondered if anyone could help me shed some light on it!
When its on full (32 degrees) it is hot as normal, when you go to say 31 it goes cold?? Although last night when driving home it was ok but today it is cold on 31 but hot on 32 again.
Can anyone tell me whats going on?
Just i thought if its the heater matrix then it wouldnt go hot at all.
A bit puzzled really and any help/advice would be appreciated.
thanks in Advanced
Paco

Hi Paco, is the coolant level ok? If it's low on water the heater matrix' won't fill up, giving intermittent, then no heat...

It's not likely to be the cause...but worth a quick check of the level anyway!...
