It says it's compatible with '1990-1995 Mazda 929 3.0 DOHC 24V JE27, 48, 74' - is that the same as the 2.5 version used from 1995 onwards? If it is, then it would be worth you getting a few owners to club together & place an order.

i`ve often looked on ebay usa at mazda 929 stuff, but didn`t know what 3.0 stuff would be compatible with the 2.5.i remember someone buying a mazda 929 manual and it only having info on the 3 litre, and they concluded that it was no use to them.i assumed that the 3.0 engine would be bigger, and therefore slightly longer timing belt,or is the extra .5 litre achieved by larger bore or longer stroke?

p.s i don`t really know what i`m talking about...........................

The idler bearings are certainly the same number but not so sure about the belt - a different prefix. It could be a different length on the 3 litre :?
