I suspect this is correct, I've been having the oil light come on occasionally recently, and it seems to go on when I corner in one direction and go out when I corner the other way, no leaks or performance issues though. Going to do a top up today. It's nearly 6 months since the last change and we had a big run around Europe in the summer so I guess it's used some. Full service coming up shortly.teenmal wrote:Hi,I think there was a bit of Info from Dandywarhol that the oil light on a bongo is dual purpose--level and pressure.
He thinks that there is a sensor near the sump drain plug with a couple of wires going to it.
He was going to check it out when he changed his oil,the he would let us know for sure.![]()
Cheers Mal..
Don't you find they "Flap" about a lot in shallow puddles ?missfixit70 wrote:Those Koi Carp are all over the place now
Cripes! I would. Given El Bongo (diesel version anyway) likes its oil changed every 3k miles, and undertaking that kind of travelling, regular checking is highly recommendedICB wrote:I suspect this is correct, I've been having the oil light come on occasionally recently, and it seems to go on when I corner in one direction and go out when I corner the other way, no leaks or performance issues though.
