I was surprised how busy it was today - not counting the bongos, must get packed in the warmer weather.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Think we might have problems getting us all in there in the sumer. Would be good to try though.
You know when you've been Bongo'd .
Re: Chew Valley Lakes Day Meet 29th Nov
What a great day! I especially liked the Pina Coladas and the limbo dancing, though I'm not sure I'll make it into the office on Monday - the sunurn really smarts! Once again; apologies for bugging out early but we had an appointment at Kingsholm where we were fortunate enough to watch Gloucester destroy Northampton in the balmy heat of a late November day - strange, some people were wearing hats & scarves!!
It was wonderful to meet new friends and the object of their passions - let's do it again when the weather cools down a bit.

Nostalgic.. For a time when people wore real fur clothes & used bows & arrows against the lightning...mikeonb4c wrote:keefysher wrote:Look forward to another winter day meet one weekend soon.

I had a think about loading my photos on here but then got too bored as it involved a lot of pasting of URL'S

Pitty we missed this one, we would have loved to have come but are still waiting beside the phone call to say no 2 grand child has arrived. It looks as if we missed a great meet. Bob and Linda filled us in on the events of the day yesterday, thanks to all that have posted pix, I keep thinking I must take more pix to post, but once one gets chatting time flies, see you all soon

but well worth a visit if you can make it.
Cheers everyone once again,

We had a lovely time meeting people and eating cake! It took us a while to warm up though...
Crazy, Adrian said 'thank you' for the beer. It worked well with his lemsips
I hope you had a smashing birthday.
Thank you everyone for the pictures - the battery in my phone ran out

PS I am in disgrace at home as almost everyone said 'Oh you are on the forum a lot aren't you.' Adrian now thinks that I spend the day on here rather than actively seeking employment.
