Yup sounds like the bleed pipe. The other place they go is where they pass over te alternator. If the clips that hold them clear of it have let go, they rub on the alternator and let go on the underside as well. Use cable ties to hold the bleed pipe clearof the alternator and check if there is already any wear.LEEANGE wrote:i think it was the bleed pipe that went on me.
it`s under passenger seat, sort of comes out and goes back on itself with
a stop on the end??

It was this that made me think it was the very end of the pipe, not the bit that went over the alternator. Been a while since I lifted the covers and checked my bleed pipe though (ooooh matron) so could be wrong about length and where it passes over me alternator (oooooh no matron).LEEANGE wrote:...found the leak![]()

As I thought. Don't forget to check the area where it passes over the alternator, as per the posts above, just to be safe. Don't want a repeat, only in a different placeLEEANGE wrote:was`nt over the alternater it was on the end-bit of a strange place to split!!
never mind, sorted now, just my power steering problem to sort now!!![]()
(see my other post) driving me mad
