My fog lights work too well!

Well I can't find a switch to turn the front ones off. Looked to pop the fuse out the fusebox under the bonnet and there isn't one. Wonder if the original owner in Japan wired them up to the headlights? Would have thought that would have failed the MOT. Abit odd. Going to have a look tomorrow and see if I can figure things out. Be the first time I've seen our Bongo in the daylight

Mine were wired up to the parking lights - had to disconnect them as that arrangement is illegal here. Must get round to fitting a switch sometime

That sounds likely to me. Thanks for the reply - I kind of thought I was going mad there trying to find an invisible switch

The front fog light switch doesn't illuminate to let you know that they are on or off, yes, it illuminates a faint green with the sidelights/headlights, but doesn't change the colour of illumination as you'd expect when enabled.

Which foglights do you mean solarwallace? The yellow lamps atop the bullbar (if fitted), or the oblong white lamps in the bumper?

There is sometimes a rocker switch fitted on the lower right hand side of the dash to switch between the two...

Well I've got some daylight today to have a proper look. No bullbars on our Bongo, we've got the oblong fog lights in the bumper.

They do come on with the sidelights.

Is the switch simply in the "on" position? Perhaps the little gizmo in the switch that "opens" it has jammed, meaning that pressing the switch doesn't actually switch it off, Any other bongo owners nearby that you could "borrow" a switch from to test it?

It sounds like mine Ste - there is no switch. The lamps were wired direct into the parking light circuit.

Yeah there's no switch at all. If the weathers good at the weekend my Dad's going to help me rewire it.

Ah.. right, i see... Sorry i hadn't clicked onto that (pun not intended) I wonder what the original thinking behind wiring them in that way was?

Now i think of it, if there is no switch, is there a relay?
