I found my Wellies!!

Thank the Lord. We can all stop searching now & get some sleep after 16 weeks.

Pray tell Cat, wherefore did you source the aforementioned Lost Souls?

They were found in the porch.

I left them in the porch after Buxton. I always said they were there but despite tearing the porch to pieces many time I never found them!

The key to finding anything is of course buying a replacement so once I had done that the rest was easy.

Tidy porch, find wellies that had escaped every search by jumping into a bag for the charity shop bag . I am glad it took me so long to take the charity bags in!!

Not a record in this house though - I am still looking for things that I lost long before Buxton. Next on the list is minimc's camping coat which went missing when we got back from Blackpool at the end of August. We know it came home with us because it was dark and lat enad cold and we would have noticed if he did the long walk to the car without it but it hasn't been seen since. Its quite amazing what can be lost in such a small space.

The funny thing is that I knew that the wellies had to be at home - they couldn't be anywhere else. I had already gone through the house the garage and the porch at least 3 times each specifically hunting for them. I am sure they were planted after I looked
