scan gauge

hi, does anyone know if there's a scan gauge to fit the bongo,ie mpg readout & stuff ?,or wot fits the diagnostic socket.

Hi,

I saw the Scangauge II the other day, however I'm certain it won't work on the bongo as this is not OBD compliant, which all gauges like this depend upon.

Not sure about the later petrol bongos, when I get time I'm going to look at the socket and compare it to a newer car I have.

Shame as it's a nice system.

I emailed them a while back, & they told me it would not work on the diesel Bongo, unfortunately I didn't enquire about the petrol version.

Been doing some checking.

The diags in the bongo looks as per in this web page so I'm even more sure all the OBD2 diags scanners won't work.

Does contain an link to how to read fault codes and what they mean/causes though so maybe useful:
