Windscreen wiper linkage / bushing kit

Help needed with windscreen wipers hitting the drivers side door pillar.

I am no DIY mechanic and I had my bongo friendly mechanic look at the wipers. They have just started to hit the door pillar with a very large thump. My mechanic tried to re-position the wipers but the amount of slack in the wipers (approx 6 inches of movement) his conclusion was that the wiper linkage mechanism would need replacing or a bushing kit would need to be found.

So the question is does anyone know where I can find a new wiper linkage or bushing kit.

Thre was a thread on this recently as someone had 'slapping wipers'. I think the general view was to find a replacement mechanism from a breaking Bongo but have a search on here and see if you can track down the thread. Good luck

Thanks for that I have seen the thread and I will give it a try.

Is this a common problem with Bongo wipers or am I one of the lucky few?.... just there doesn't seem to be much on the forum.

Solved the problem, or I should say have nearly solved the problem.

Got a wiper linkage (2nd Hand) from Bongobits on the way. Should have clonk free wiping at the weekend.
