Sorry to say I'm with Jo and Chris on this...any slim possibility of me making it has gone completely down the pan...it may be only a few miles further than Leisure Lakes or other Lancashire venues but in terms of travel time it is probably a good hours extra travel time from South Lakeland.

If you want the big white marquee can you arrange a pick up. I can probably arrange to deliver it during the previous week to someone within an hour's drive of Grange.

cheers

Unfortunately, like Chris & Jo we would be doing the journey in the dark and into unfamiliar territory (Buxton wanderings still iingrained in my memory). The A65 is no joke in the dark...particularly if the weather is wet/cloudy.

I'd be travelling on my own with no sat nag or sat nav to give directions once off the motorway and I probably wouldn't be able to leave the Lake District until after 6.00pm on Saturday.

I'm really miffed that I'm missing this but unless my prior commitments for the weekend can be 'traded' with another MR Team member I just will not be able to get away until late on Saturday evening.

Jetsta has done a stirling job in getting a site at all at this time of year, particularly with all the wet weather we've been having. I'm sure it will be a super weekend.....enjoy.

I'll be there if there is the remotest opportunity.

Sorry mates but we won't finish work til 5.30pm so wouldn't arrive till 8pm in the dark, uncharted territory and that. The two previous locations we knew and could reasonably have got to.

Shame we would loved to have come. catch up with you all soon I am sure.
