Help. Are these the Glow Plugs I should be buying?

Post by B*Witched Blingo » Fri Oct 31, 2008 7:21 pm

I have noticed the last couple of times I have started Blingo she has been a bit chuggy for about a minute or so. I never move off straight away anyway, but I just wondered if this was normal for this time of year. I don't use Veg oil just straight diesel.

I suspect the Glow Plugs may need changing and having looked through all Blingos service records and receipts I find no record of these ever being replaced since import in 2006.

So I have had a tootal around on Ebay and found these.

Has anyone else installed them?. Are they a fair price or am I looking at the wrong thing. Buy the way she is a 96 early 96 on a P if that helps.

If you can help it would be much appreciate it..Please, please. [-o<

I agree with Richard - I've seen cheapo chinese copies fall apart in the engine - best to stick with NGK

there are two sizes of heater plugs, make sure you get the right ones for your vehicle.
dont quote me on this ,but Wheelquick will fit and supply for around £60. (well that was the price for me anyway)

I fitted those glowplugs and up to now they have been spot on - did fit cheaper ones and had to replace them 12 months later.
