help heaterplug light flashing +scavenger fan running

help heaterplug light flashing +scavenger fan running when temp gets up to half way on the dash temp gauge,fan still runs when the ignition is turned of untill it cools down, tried a full flush plus a new thermostat today (after hours of fun trying to bleed air out) but still the same

for heater plug light do you mean the light that looks like a coiled wire and is yellow?

hi thanks i think i found the problem the sensor near the handbrake is not there ?????? missing just a loose 2 pin conection and a hole with a rubber gromit were i think the sensor must have bin pushed in

now the hard part to find a new sensor does any body have one of these ?????
also will update my profile i am from co durham (bishop auckland)

:lol: 8) :? :D :) Hi Chopper129, I replaced my Engine Bay Temp sensor, with a new one from Bongobits.com, cost £49.59, still got the old one if you want it.

now sorted replaced the Engine Bay Temp sensor 100% ok thanks to nibs
