Whats This Hose Called?

I need to replace a hose.

Under the passenger seat, above the alternator, there is a hose wrapped in metal stuff, running from the top of the motor to a thin metal tube feeding the turbo.



The green gunge is getting a little crusty at both ends of this & is pumping out about a pint of coolant a week. (coolant alarm saves the day - again!)

Any ideas what its called & where I can get one please peeps?

No idea what it's called, but flippa may well sell them. If not, it just looks like a straight bit of hose from a motor factors could be used - just make sure you put the metal sleeve back on, to protect the hose from the exhaust heat.

Isn't it just a bog standard bit of rubber hose with the metal sleeve slipped over the top??

Cheers John, asked flippa a couple of weeks back. No joy.

Maybe it is a standard thing but it appears to be a smaller diameter at the turbo end . . .

Just been and had a look at mine. I don't think it is thinner at one end. It's just that you can't see the pipe at the engine end. If you can slide the hose back a little, you should be able to see the engine end pipe for comparison.
