Difficult one, they were really helpful but basically they deal in gearboxes. They looked at the Bongo as it was still under warranty from Imperial, and quickly realised that it was not a gearbox fault. However, they persevered and came up with what would appear to be the likely solution (tested again today and all fine) however, the repair work was actually carried out by the garage next to Imperial, mainly because they had access to the required spare. I would suggest that if anyone did need work carried out in the Weymouth area they give Dunnings a ring (01305 783113) and see if they are interested, they are experts in "grey imports". #-o

Well I solved the problem after all that I found a vac tube collapsing under certain conditions.....therefore restricting vac.

I replaced all the tubing in that area and she is fine again. I left it for three weeks while away and came back to it with fresh eyes and solved it within an hour. I even had some tubing in the garage.

Vac systems they can be difficult to find faults or that's what I am telling myself.
