Looking for good garage near Penrith in Cumbria

Post by RonnieDogOwner » Wed Sep 24, 2008 3:44 pm

Hello,

Does any-one know of a Bongo friendly garage in the Penrith area? We are having a couple of problems with ours, and we have not had a Bongo before.

We are not the most mechanically minded couple so are looking for some-one to trust.

Thanks

There are quite a few members around your area including Harry so it is supprising that no one local to you has replied to your query. But then lots of them go down to Wheelquick in Wigan which is reputed to be the best Bongo garage in the North West. I make a 166 miles trip from the Scottish Borders to Wigan to get them to look after my Bongo, I don't trust even the local garage that looks after my Jeep Cherokee. Most garages do not have a clue when it comes to Bongos as they do not possess any servicing data on them.

Thought that there may be someone nearer.

I use Kieth's garage at Flookburgh for all my bongo maintainance/repairs...very good and at a good price.

Wheelquick at Wigan comes highly recommended in the North West.

If it is only minor niggles how about popping down for a day visit (or the weekend) to our big NW meet at Silverdale the weekend after neaxt.

The 'do' is mainly social but there will be a lot of bongo mechanical expertise there and lots of people more than happy to spend some time talking bongo and doing minor diy jobs.

cheers

Keith's garage as Harry recommends and Camp Road Garage also down the Moor Lane (Mile Road) keep ours going and are interested in it. Local business' so not rip off. We are looking forward to Silverdale weekend... :)

Think I will have a trot down to Keiths for a goodbye service before she goes.
How much for a regular short service then chaps?

If you are coming down to John keith's at Flookburgh give me a call (number on website link below) as you will be coming through Grange.

I might be able to offer some advice although I'd rely on John to fix anything mechanical.

cheers
