Big Blue Switch???
Hi folks, first post on the forum!
Recently purchased my 1st Bongo, wanted one for years and more delighted with it than I thought I would be!
Anyway, one thing that has been bothering me is a Big Blue Electric Switch beneath the steering column? I'm sure it's fairly straight forward but cant seem to find out what it does? Any suggestions?

Welcome whosthemonster and glad you are enjoying the Bongo.
No idea about the switch - it sounds non standard (so many Bongos are!). Hope someone can help, but in the meantime yes, investigate if it's connected to foglights (should only light up once sidelights are on if so). Does it look like a Mazda/factory type switch or something added later?

I have a little switch under my steering column which is a bit strange. I think its to save battery life as our Jap friends spend a lot of time in jams so when this switch is on and you pull up in traffic your headlights go off, weird I know.

Re: Big Blue Switch???
Have you tried switching it on & seeing what happens? (as long as its not a kamikaze / hari kari self destruct button
)
