Heater fan / air con not working

I tried to switch the air con on today and got nothing. I then noticed the blower wasn't working either. Nothing in the rear either. I suspected a blown fuse, but have checked all the fuses in the cab and two lots of fuses under the bonnet and they all seem intact. Any ideas please?

Check the fan itself, if all speeds are not working...there's a fact sheet in the members area. If you have the fan working on top speed only, then it's the resistor....same applies...check members area. both jobs are not difficult

I'll check the fan. As the air con light doesn't even come on though, have I missed a fuse somewhere?

I don't know....Have you missed a fuse....there's a list of what does what in the members area....fact sheet , I think.....possibly under bonnet labelled "fan" . My rear fan went....I managed to check it first by putting 12 volts through it.

Thanks for the advice. I joined back up again, got the fact sheet and one quick repair later, Billy Bongo is tickety boo again. It only took me this long to do as I was waiting for a dry day at a weekend to get under the bonnet.

I'm incredibly chuffed I fixed it and relieved it was so painless. There's no dark cloud worse than the impending threat of having to throw money at the bongo!

Of course, the air con light wasn't working because the fan was set on 0. D'oh!

Worth the money to join, Just think how much that would have cost in a garage.
He See's you coming, sharp intake of breath and says another bongo nutter and his money easily parted, now let me get onto the fury site and the fact sheets to see how i can fix it. Then screw him for loadsa money .

'Tis true DBO....It's getting worse than before I left England....but , Lo and Behold....it's frightful over here when they hear our English accent....so we usually get our Bulgarian friends to enquire before getting a price ....it often still pans out cheaper than the UK.....we had our manifold stud fixed....twice the going rate but I watched him do the job, and he was patient and methodical, and did the job correctly.....all for the over- inflated price of 20 quid
