No ABS Fuses!

Post by Nippon Tuck » Tue Sep 02, 2008 2:39 pm

Hello. I was browsing under the bonnet of my N reg 1996 freetop and popped open the fuse box. I noticed immediately that there were no ABS fuses in there. I am assuming that my model has not got ABS and the box is just standard with the name of each fuse printed on the lid. (A very useful idea from them clever Japanese.)

Am I right in thinking I dont have ABS or have they been removed for a reason?

TTFN.

Correctamundo my friend..!
I had the same conundrum & figured a universal wiring loom.
I must admit even without the ABS, the breaking system is pretty good on a vehicle this size.
No, i don't think they would remove yer ABS or tamper with the breaking system. unless you have upset some one..? 8)

Thanks for that. I did suspect my good lady wife of foul play. What with the wirecutters and welding mask in her handbag, it makes one suspicious. :?

That would be when she says she's studying Damion Hurst & would you mind helping her out by standing in this tank of formaldehyde...?

Still, better that posing in a tennis skirt for a Anthena photo shoot..

Mine too.

But in yours, has someone also pulled one of the twin male pins out (from the ABS fuse location)??

That's reassuring, same here! Now I've got to work out why my Rad Fan doesn't come on...(got some fuses on order- the current ones seem intact, if a bit 'green' and skanky).
