Starting Motor - Result!

Post by Craig » Thu Aug 28, 2008 10:48 am

Our Bongos starting motor has been dying for the last few months. Was a bit miffed as we had only just replaced the alternator.
Wasnt looking forward to shelling out 300 squid!
Anyways, the boys at our local garage reconditioned it, all in for 150 notes!
very happy.
If any-one needs the same in North Norfolk, will direct you.

You could have done it yourself for about a tenner if you had searched the forum for starter contacts. :(

I did try once..........
but lost an arm in the process,
hence my lack of enthusiasm.

So this time you lost an arm and a leg? 8)

Sorry couldn't resist.

As long as you think you got good value, that's all that matters.
