Alternator, 2 or 3 pin? Help please

Hi there,

I want to replace the alternator on our Bongo which is an N reg 96. It is in the garage at the mo :( , but they said we needed to replace the alternator. When I phoned one company they asked whether it was 2 or 3 pin. Anyone able to help please.

2 pin. Part number Hitachi LR190-731.
