Can anyone please tell how much a bongo can pull,and its kerb side weight.Thanks Heather :)

I ram mine over a weighbrigde a while back.

2140 kilos with bullbars, conversion & half a tank of diesel.

kerb weight 2 wd=1770kg 4wd=1790 kg see info on link. hope it helps

just read your message properly. we pull a folding caravan a lot heavier than that and have no problems. We put some(a lot really) in the back of the bongo also. Don't notice we are towing at all really.

Heather,my van is 1 and a 1/4 ton,1250 kg.....dont know its on the back.

A Bongo can tow 1600kg.

AFT kerbweight is 1900kg

It's only a little chip fryer :( - the oven and George Foreman type grill take up much more room :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks everyone for your wisdom i think i can safely two 900kg's then even though i don't really understand all the weight thing,as long as it's safe thats ok,i don't want a poorley bongo :oops: :cry: :D

We towed a folding camper slightly lighter than that with a Focus, no sweat for the Bongo. we have towed a huge box trailer full of shed and we struggled due to overheating - but it was a flaming big twin axle job :roll:

We had our eyes open for you yesterday - but only saw one Bongo in Brid - a Green one. had I known the plan was to go to Brid after we had been to the Deep in Hull I would have let you know :D
