roof stuck down

hi guys i have not used the bongo for several months tried to put the roof up today and it just wont move hand brake is up and i can here the engine revs drop slightly when i press the button so the mechanism seams to be working but just stuck any help would be much appreciated as i have a week booked in sidmouth from tomorrow. thanks

panic over disconnected battery and reconnected roof went up
