I'm horrified how much black brake dust they give off all over my shiny alloys.

Can any one recommend a cleaner alternative set of pads please

I bought mine from Bongobits. Put new ones on rear wheels yonks ago but haven't needed to fit front ones yet (slight miscalculation on the overcautious side!!). But I've no dust coming from rear discs that's for sure, so maybe try theirs?lochan2 wrote:I replaced my brake pads not so long ago, having bought some via ebay.

Interesting thought. I had wondered about that from time to time, but put my trust in the manufacturers (fool?)Simon Jones wrote:Just a thought - softer (& therefore more dusty) breakpads should wear out faster than the disks. I've has two cars that needed new disks after about 30K & that to me would suggest that the compound on the pads was too hard. Embrace the dirty look & think how much longer those disks will last
