Right hand reversing light is red ..... will this fail MOT

Hiya just recently brought a bongo and my partner informed me that only 1 or the 2 reserving lights worked. When he checked the bulbs the right reversing light contained a red bulb. Upon making futher checks this red bulb is rigged up to a fog light button. Will this pass an MOT as normally the colour of the bulb is the colour of the casing...... and help would be appreciated

Yes it will pass.
You haven't been looking at lots of new cars have you - the lenses are often clear, with coloured bulbs behind them.
