What you really need is the heavy duty relay kit from willinton (ebay name), which I think is set up to patch straight into the fusebox. Everything you need to do your split charge relay including the 4 way fusebox and wires for your accessories that you want to run from the LB.
I use his modified relays in my own split charge system and they are great.
If you can get one, I will help you fit it when i'm down.

thanks madmile, already have a split charge relay, not willintons but seem a shame not to utilise it,it was previously fitted to a bongo but its minus the gear to patch to the fuseboard hence why i was looking at this one, what do you think?dont really want the added expense of a willinton kit (although i agree it is the best option)

I buy the crimp terminals that can be fitted into the mini blade fuse connections in bags of a hundred as I use them for ignition feeds for blue tooth hands free car kits.

I use these connections as I have customers who do not want me to modify the wiring in their cars at all and it is these customers not the FCS who pay my bills. The other reason to take an ignition feed in this manner is to make it easier to put the vehicle back to standard if there is an electrical problem with the vehicle and this does away with any warranty implications of cutting into the vehicle's harness.

If any one needs a few of these I am happy to pop some in the post. My terms for this service are that you give a couple of quid on my behalf to a charity of your choice. Please bear with me though as I am pretty busy most of the time!

What do you actually have Chris - split charge relay (I assume a 30amp one). Do you have a 4 way fusebox? If so you just need 4 wires and the thin blade style crimps to go into the fuse box.
Can bring electrics box with me, but dont want to miss something important.
I have every thing you will need and if your not going down the heavy duty route then its cheap to do (but you may need to upgrage when it all melts  ).

As has been said on many occasions, please use the PM facility if you want to argue - thread now locked.
