Yes - connect it to the battery, with the clips provided, and place it on the dashboard. I use a small one to keep my starter battery topped up when not using van - not much good for anything else though. You'd need a huge panel to charge a leisure battery.

Thanks for that- there's one for sale for £50 in my local paper. May be worth buying, then.

maplin have got them for £9.99 but only 1.5W so very slow.

Maplin do a 13W panel that folds on half in a briefcase style for £50. My fridge is a Waeco I think and consumes about 40W so the 13 W panel could help prolong the leisure battery life, depending on the efficiency of the unit i.e. does it actually outout 13W to charge the battery.tuftysteve wrote:Thanks for that- there's one for sale for £50 in my local paper.
