rear window blind broken....

mrs bongomaan took bongomaan junior out today and when she wasnt looking the little ray of sunshine decided to swing on the rod of the blind behind the drivers seat,the rod is bent and the plastic fittings at the ends have snapped,when you operate it the other side comes down but i cant hear the motor working,any ideas anyone ? all replies gratefully recieved....

It's not difficult to access it to fix or replace, follow Waycars factsheet on cleaning the blinds in the members section to get the panels off, if it's beyond repair, the whole frame comes out quite easily, I think it's only about 4 bolts once the wiring is disconnected, if you can find a donor for a new one it's straight back in

That's a lot of trouble to go to to get a pic for bongomaan kirsty.... :lol:

thank you kirsty your a star, theres one on ebay for £40 for one unit good price ?,anyway we are off to try our awning out as we didnt get to last year due to weather,happy camping everybody !!!!

thanks to the forum me and my family just had a weekend of our dreams just a simple field and a bongo !! we have struggled to get this show on the road but yesterday was the pay off,we just want to say thanks for the help,advice and encouragement .... viva ....

Pardon my cynicism, but i'd say anything LESS than £100 for a bongo item on e-bay was an extremely good price! I'd snap it up a bit sharpish,like!

I was just about to say enjoy the rest of the weekend...then noticed it's monday morning! #-o
