Re: LEISURE BATTERY
i paid £55 for a 100amp/h battery thats the same dimensions as the 85amp/h. its ok still goes flat when running the george foreman but i guess a bank of batteries would do that too.
willinton kit looks good value and the new one looks neat and tidy.
main starter battery is 95amps with cca of 700. think bongo needs 650 to start.

Re: LEISURE BATTERY
Hi Mr & Mrs,
I managed to get a 115A battery into the factory fitted cube, minus the seating tray. Its a tight fit, and feels pretty solid.
I will pass on details of brand , cost and where I bought when I get home later this evening.
Regards,
Gary.

Re: LEISURE BATTERY
Just thought I'd also give my thumbs up to the willinton kit.
Bought one off ebay last week, arrived in a couple of days, Everything fitted & working perfectly in about an hour or so.
Frankly I was stunned by the quality of both the kit and the instructions. It was a true joy to do...everything fitting just perfectly, and all cabling was exactly the correct length. The only thing I was disspointed by was that it didn't take longer to fit
Tip Top.

Re: LEISURE BATTERY
Hi guys,
Just workin' on installing my lb. Got some new terminal covers too, for the starter battery as one's missing and the other's
wrecked.
Can I disconnect my starter battery at the terminals without any consequences to the Bongo's brain or other electronic stuff? I need to thread the positive and negative cables through the new terminal covers to get them on without cutting the covers.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just don't know if I can do this, and I have no experience either.
Thanks for anyones input!

I have not converted anything at the moment but am looking to put more in so will be putting in a LB. how hard is it to move stuff over to the LB from the main battery, also I will put a 12v TV to put in the bongo and it seems that a LB does not last long and sort of battery should I go for 85ah, 95ah, 105ah, 110ah or 120ah is bigger better?? How long will a LB last on one charge say running a cool box, TV and internal lights?
Send him a message in e-bay, he will let you know when they are for sale. They are a great fit

There's nothing on the bongo that will be affected by disconnecting the batteries (except perhaps your stored raidio satitions).onilleymcknown wrote:Hi guys,
