What is this connector? was behind a dash blanking plate

Hi all,

am new on here so sorry if its been mentioned already, what does the spare connector that is cliped into the back of a dash blanking plate do? its one of the ones on the right just below the instrument cluster.

I was wondering the same thing..... I came to the conclusion that it's been put there specifically to get in your way when you're fitting the LED for your coolant loss alarm.

I could be wrong though.

thanks, it must be for something! be nice to see if it does anything (maybe its something to do with the standard leisure batteries??)

Though there was some butchering done to mine by someone to tap in the rear fog. :roll:

I bet yer wondering what the plug is behind the blank on the lower switch bank is too, don't yah? :wink:

Not to mention the free floating smaller block with red & black wires on, doing the "last tango in Paris" somewhere in between...! :lol:
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

That's handy as I have one of those as well :D

You will need the realy on the N/S/F inner wing and hopefully the wiring may be hiding somewhere behind the front bumper? [-o< [-o<
