Yes that is the same bongo as seen on e bay but i did get a good deal on it as the garage selling it couldn't seem to sell it. It was over priced though.
As for the paint....well,looking close up it looks like a custom job but it does have all the jap stickers still on it in the right places..

Excellent result. I remember thinking exactly that myself i.e. that the dealer might find it tricky to sell at teh asking price but that (in my view) it looked really good in that colour and a nice machine. Now that the Bongo community has seen it, I suspect the colour will have become more desirable, as Bongoing is becoming more and more about individual styles anyway (expect for old farts like me who have classic '95 green/silver ones - common as muck but I love it)

Big chief wiggum has much red bongo,big daddy cain saw image in um smoke signals...now me thinks big chief has done much rain dancing of late...as it is much pi55ing it down on regular um basis.... welc"um" to the forum big chief,reduce um smoke signals with blanking of EGR god... HIIya uma wumma....
