hi all,
as many(probably very many)of you know,i have a rattly v6,and we all suspect hydraulic tappet sticking or camshaft wear.i have been struggling to locate a mazda 929 manual(same engine)so i can start work on it.i have, however found a mazda mpv manual and the engine in that is a v6.it contains all the procedures for removing the timing belt, camshafts, hydraulic lifters etc.now,i know this is not exactly the same engine, but will it serve me as far as the above procedures are concerned?it has all the torque settings etc,so hopefully it will at least give me and my mechanic friend a little extra help.i have uploaded the manual to my own website,as that was the only way i could think of to show it to you guys.please feel free to download it from this link:
(link removed)
and if there are any v6 owners out there who want to have a look,it may provide some help to them, too.
thanks for reading this

Worked for me as well - took a fair while to download though
As it's a totally different engine to the Bongo, I wouldn't rely on the torque settings etc.

Dun it,
Download complete.
This manual is for a J3 not a J5 Jamie
Back to the begining for you im afraid
Torque settings would be wrong as well as the valve timing

Sorry Jamie, but it can be very expensive if your nuts aren't tight enough
Why not get one on disc and print out the bits you need for each job?

Also painful on the wallet if you overtighten your nuts
