fuel tank vent

could anyone tell me how the tank is vented or is it that the filler cap has a vent,i have looked but cant see,any advice would be appreciated...cheers...

dont think mine is vented via the cap as sometimes in hot weather there is a definate whoosh as I release the cap, I have poked and prodded the cap in case tho.

According to this, there is a breather on the top of the tank coming off the cover plate under the floor & it looks like a breather on the filling hose too.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

after a good run its as if my engine is starved of fuel and when i came back from stonehenge on saterday it stalled just outsde the house,so either its the fuel pump leak (fuel out air in ?) or a vacuum in the tank.. (banjo and fuel filter ok ) any ideas ???? ps cheers for the link kirsty ill investagate...
