Coolant leak front of engine

Post by SimonT » Sat Jun 21, 2008 7:38 pm

I have just developed a dripping coolant leak that seems to be coming from the front of the engine.

I originally thought this was an oil leak

Are there any seals that might have perished and need replacing at the front of the engine does any one know?

Many thanks
thanks

Hi
You might check your water pump...there have been a few posts like yours lately.
Cheers

If you are going to get a new pump fitted. Ensure the garage know how to bleed the engine. Download the factsheet and take it to them if they don't do a lot of Bongo's. It's VERY important it is done the right way. Cost a lot if done wrong.
